Nature-Based Education

Our Spa Forest School has been open for over 3 years, and we have continued to welcome new groups and classes throughout the academic year.

We can work with you to create a programme of educational visits throughout the seasons, tying in with curriculum topics and special events. Whether it is just one visit with your class, a session each term or regular monthly visits, we can tailor your Forest School experience to your class needs.

Bookings are available for sessions throughout the year, with many slots already allocated in our busy diary (once you visit you will want to come back!).

Nurseries

If you plan to take your nursery group on a fun outing, we highly recommend visiting the woods. There, your little ones can explore winding paths, engage in hunts, play in a fantastic mud kitchen, and sit under the shade of an exciting Yew Tree for story time.

Primary Schools

We believe getting children involved in natural environments from a young age encourages a healthy relationship with the outdoors.

We can tailor a visit to Forest School for any accompanied Primary year group (teachers and classroom assistants present). Activities can be linked to the Northern Ireland Curriculum and we can work closely with your teacher to help deliver an outdoor experience that is both educational and great fun.
